The Society and Water Pollution

If nations can reach an agreement that they will struggle together, and can have the power to do it, one of the crucial things that have to be stopped is pollution. It has thrown people to the life of anxiety and abnormality, if not more pronouncedly, at least imposing some impact. This has to be the reason why the world’s super powers frequently convene in order to share their profound concerns on this global issue.
Pollution, as most commonly observed has impact on air, water and some other constituents of our earth which are closely linked to human life. Among these I will try to describe some views of mine on the basis of my experience in the past on water pollution.
Water can be polluted by waste products from industrial and domestic services. Some two or three years ago, there happened an unfortunate incident in a town I lived. When a new pipeline was being constructed, it incidentally coincided with the line which was supposed to remove toilet wastes. This caused the water to be contaminated with the waste product. It was this unexpected disaster that shattered down the daily life of the residents. People suffered illness related to the bowl, and some of them were succumbed to the diseases.
It may be raised a question that how these wastes influence the original state of the water and make it inadequate for use. Considering from chemical and biological point of view, as the waste contains nitrogenous compound, ammonia (NH3), and micro-organisms that can infest body organs, it is quite clear to see that they make the water polluted. And this pollution expectedly brings about abnormality to the living things.
I got also to see that people using water from the same source as animals do, and this had made the people in the compound to contract diseases that are transmitted by animals. Ultimately, they became the victim of plague; some of them also lost their lives.
The other way water is polluted, so far as I discovered is the way farmers utilize manures. They incautiously splash it on the ground that are near water bodies, and this makes the water to be polluted with the chemicals the manure is composed of.
So also it is necessary to be careful with most of industrial products when it comes to deal with them.
We have to bear in mind that our world is not only losing the dearest and precious lives of its major constituent, but also all the power and skill that is of tremendous potential and contribution to its progress. In addition to this a handicap caused by pollution cases creates demoralization to the society, which in turn leads to inefficient employment and production. This is what has now become the main source of poverty which is one of the limits attendant upon human existence. A single glance at the world around us will show that the misfortunes of the state of poverty are universally recognized, and indeed, the desire to avoid poverty supplies one of the principal motives of all human activity.
Though how much endeavour and hard work is implemented, and still having pollution as a major roadblock, nothing significant can ever be achieved to tackle poverty. Specially, as water is inextricably linked to our daily life, all possible efforts have to be put in, as to the conservation of water bodies which are easily accessible. This can only be brought to success with the indefatigable and joint hard work contributed by both the government and every member of the society.
Some of the measures that have to be taken to conserve the natural state of the water and reclaim the cost quality of it are tried and described as follows.
Firstly, viewing the problem from the responsibilities imposed on the government, the constitution together with the concerned ministry has to play an important role in building up the society with the rudimentary and vital knowledge about conservation from the very definition of the term up to how to implement the necessary measures.
Moreover, the government has to formulate rules and regulations that can aid the conservation of water resources. It should also bear the responsibility to recruit and deploy skilled manpower, and to provide the necessary materials and facilities that enhance the process.
It is not only the government which is responsible for this career, but also more and more expected from every quarter. The society should not be indifferent to what is going on around. All the waste materials that can be either domestic or industrial have to be removed in the way they possibly will not cause pollution, and should be thrown in a proper place.
More generally, to cope with our unlimited need of water, so then to tread through prosperous, and peaceful life, which we all are eager for, it is the essence to maintain what God has provided us from the beginning as nothing miracle can happen to glorify us with all we want.
